Acorn FC hosted an 11 a side football tournament for young people 16-18 years.
This took place on Thursday 19th February and with the theme of “Bringing Communities Together through Sport” to promote a positive image of the community, and raise awareness to young people who take part to ‘think twice’ about the notion and consequences of gangs and violent gun and knife crimes.
The event was supplemented by workshops and the Met Safer Neighbourhood Team delivered a talk on Street Safety, in order to help create a unique experience.
